20:1. బెన్హదదు సిరియా రాజు, అతడు తన సైన్యాలన్నిటినీ సమీకరించాడు. తనతో ముప్పై ఇద్దరు రాజులున్నారు. వారికి రథాలు, గుర్రాలు వున్నాయి. వారు సమరియను (షోమ్రోను) ముట్టడించి యుద్ధం చేశారు.

20:1. తనయొద్ద గుఱ్ఱములను రథములను సమకూర్చుకొనిన ముప్పది ఇద్దరు రాజులుండగా సిరియారాజైన బెన్హదదు తన సైన్యమంతటిని సమకూర్చుకొని బయలుదేరి షోమ్రోనుకు ముట్టడి వేసి దానిమీద యుద్ధము చేసెను.

20:1. Now King Ben Hadad of Syria assembled all his army, along with thirty-two other kings with their horses and chariots. He marched against Samaria and besieged and attacked it.

20:1. About that time King Ben-hadad of Aram mobilized his army, supported by the chariots and horses of thirty-two allied kings. They went to besiege Samaria, the capital of Israel, and launched attacks against it.
